Easy homemade broth to use is your recipes.

Toss all your vegetable trimmings into a gallon sized freezer bag. When the bag is full you will have enough to make a broth.

Avoid starchy vegetables, they will ruin your broth.

Carrots, celery, and onions make a great base for the broth. If you don’t have any of those in your trimmings, add them fresh.

Step 1

Toss your vegetable trimmings into a large pot and add enough water to cover

Step 2

Boil for 30 minutes

Step 3

Strain and pour into freezer safe container and freeze
